King Henry Slumbers

My sweet King Henry! This will be the last photo I post that will come from Marsha, Henry's Foster Mom, because he will finally be with us! YES! This Sunday, King Henry will finally come home. I am beyond ready. I have had his little bedroom set up for at least a week. My Husband had to make sure I didn't do it any earlier than that, I have a hard time pacing myself... :)
With Thanksgiving happening this week, I feel like this year, The Wofford's have quite a bit to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

P.S. be ready for even more pictures of Henry! I can't help myself!

A Necklace For Lori

A Necklace For Lori!Posted by Picasa

I was so excited the other day! ( I feel like I am always excited... ) I was able to re-up on some jewelry making supplies. I have just really begun making jewelry and I find I really enjoy it. I do not claim to be amazing, and I will tell you the only reason I have an Etsy Shop is because I thought people were going to accost me until I die if I didn't! Apparently, just because you make something means you should sell it. I happen to disagree. But what I do agree with is sharing with friends!
My dearest friend Dianne is a fan of the trinkets I create, so she asked if I might be able to whip something up for her daughter, Lori, for Christmas. I was happy to oblige!
I found this beautiful pendant at the local Hobby Lobby. I had to have it! I just knew it would be perfect! I used 18g Parawire Vintaj to make the chain and findings. I also found the beads on clearance at Hobby Lobby, but not the pearls. The pearls are just plastic, I got those from Dianne's personal craft stash! I benefit from crafty friends with too much excess!! I used bail pliers to form the chain. I like using the pliers more than a mandrel. Although, I don't even own a jump ring mandrel. I wonder if using one would make the process of making the jump rings go faster? Any suggestions from fellow jewelry makers, please comment below!
Hope you enjoy the photos, and feel a little inspired to create!

Vintage Beauties

I had to share this picture. It is amazing to me how far fashion, makeup and the perception of beauty have come. I mean, what we consider hot is no where near this! LOL These women are BEAUTIFUL, and still, I think the look silly! But, I can at least appreciate them. What I find very interesting is how depressed all these women look. I wonder if you just didn't smile in those days. Thank GOD for the invention of hair products! I mean, I could not have lived in those days with curl like mine! <gasp>
What I do love is how they used other elements to make themselves beautiful. Yes the didn't have all the makeup we do now, but they had some. The choice of headpieces are what I love. Enjoy!

King Henry's 4 Week Birthday!

My sweet King Henry Leopold Wofford is 4 weeks old already! He has grown so much! I can't believe how big he is! He is sure to reach 10lbs! Marsha has informed me that he has developed quite the personality! She said Henry LOVES to play and pick on his brothers and sisters! But when it comes to nap time, Henry is at the top of the puppy pile! Henry prefers a "Fur Bed"! LOL I told you he was royalty! Marsha also informed us that he is responding to his name, had his first drink of water and is eating puppy food soaked in warm water! I am so proud of my little guy! I can't wait for him to be home with his Mommy and Daddy! I have his fluffy bed waiting and a whole big bundle of love! Happy 1 Month Birthday Henry!
King Henry Leopold Wofford, 4 weeks!
I can't wait to have you home! <3 xoxo

I Have a Child!

Posted by Picasa

LoL, I can only imagine what you think! No, I am not pregnant, nor do I ever plan on being. I have adopted a beautiful puppy! He is only 4 weeks old now, so he will not be home until after thanksgiving. I have named him, King Henry Leopold Wofford. He is a Pomeranian, and oh so cute. His parents were to die for, so fluffy so adorable! I found the most amazing couple to get my Henry from. I was surfing the internet for dogs and found this ad, I got an email back saying they had posted the ad for a friend and they gave me a number. I called the number and to my surprise, I met Marsha and Mike. Two of the kindest people, good Christians, loving to their animals, I mean, what more could I ask for?
I was able to have this precious little boy because of a very good friend. My heart is full and I cannot wait for him to come home to me. I just received an email today with pictures of my Henry and his family. This is going to be the longest month of my life!!
